Week Ending 9th January 2015

Welcome back to school, and a Happy New Year to everyone!

Our topic for this term is "Sharing the Planet."  To kick start this, we had a Science Day on Tuesday, where visitors from Mad Science came in to present an exciting assembly, with experiments and investigations, followed up by workshops in the classroom, which were enjoyed by all.

On Thursday, children in Hedgehogs, Otters and Squirrels went to the pantomime at Milton Keynes Theatre, which this year was "Peter Pan."  As usual, the production was fantastic, with hilarious jokes, fabulous dance routines, and impressive costumes and scenery.  And as an added treat, all the children enjoyed an ice cream during the interval!

Older children have compiled a list of New Years' Resolutions for 2015.  These are:

To have fewer people on the behaviour chart
To be on time for school
To put all equipment away in boxes
To always do our homework
To help keep our school tidy
To look after our belongings
To try and eat all our lunch - not drop food on the floor
To always do our best with work
To think before we speak

All these make our school a better place!
