Happy New Year!
We had a wonderfully exciting start to our new term, with a visit to Milton Keynes Theatre, to see the pantomime, "Peter Pan". Staff and children enjoyed a picnic in the hall, before boarding the coach.
On Thursday there was a disco and tea, in the School hall. there was a bubble machine and lots of prizes, gifts and medals. Only the grown-ups had trouble with their ears!
Our foundation subject this week has been design and technology. Hedgehogs and Squirrels have made puppets. The children designed their own puppets, using wooden spoons, paper plates, socks and a variety of decorations. Rabbits have designed and made wind-up toys. Badgers have dyed fabric to make money containers.
Our new range of Choices, for this term are: music; Spanish; needlecraft; mind puzzles; theatre set design, photography.
Inside, we now have a refurbished staff room and office - even the pot plants, blinds and filing cabinets are colour co-ordinated! (Red, of course.)
Outside, our allotment area is complete, and awaits planting in a few weeks. Next step is to refurbish the shed into "E.B.L.S. Potting Shed!
