Week Ending 22nd March 2013

The new buildings are steadily progressing, and should hopefully be completed next month.  The children continue to show great interest in their construction, and are becoming quite knowledgeable about beams and supports.

Hamsters are also having a new construction built... a "Bug Hotel."  If there is a lack of creepy crawlies around the village, then they are probably in their new five star accommodation!!

On Thursday we had an "e-safety" day, when children watched videos, and completed relevant activities, to help them understand the need for caution when accessing the internet.

Meanwhile, Hamsters have a had a "Fairy Tale" week, with dressing up and acting out favourites such as Jack and the Beanstalk, The Gingerbread Man and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Tuesday and Wednesday gave the opportunity for parents to see their children's work and progress.  Lots of praise was given to children and staff, for all their dedication and continuing hard work.

Plans are underway for next term, when the topic is "Ourselves and our Environment."  Hopefully there will be many opportunities to work outdoors, weather permitting.

Next Thursday, School closes for the Easter break, so for everyone reading our blog:

HAPPY EASTER!
