Week Ending 27th April 2012

All classes have been making items for our Olympic Hall board this week.  Do have a look next time you are in School for a visit.  Also, our entrance to the field is adorned by the Olympic rings, so when the fine weather returns, the children will enter the "Eaton Bray Academy Olympic Stadium" to practice events, culminating in Sports Day in July!

There are four new hens - 2 x Bluebell and 2 x Buttercup - who have settled in well, and are laying large brown eggs.  Henrietta, Florence and Rosie have gone to a "Retirement Home," where they will be free-range.

Main School have a new play tunnel, and are looking forward to using it when the weather improves.  Our vegetables are ready to be planted out, as soon as the weather allows it, so the kitchen will soon be able to use the produce in their delicious lunches.

Next week, there are trips to Wardown Park Museum - on Tuesday for KS2 and Thursday for KS1.  If you would like to know more about this venue, before your child/children tell in exciting detail, please visit http://www.wardownparkmuseum.com/
